Warranty Coverage

American Standard offers registered limited warranty coverage on its air conditioners. American Standard states that its registered limited warranty provides up to twelve years on the compressor for select units, with ten years on parts, when the owner registers within 60 days of installation.

Without timely registration, American Standard applies its base limited warranty instead. American Standard states that the base limited warranty lasts five years and covers the compressor, outdoor coil, and internal functional parts.
